Bulgur & Flax Pilaf

Great to use instead of rice, good on it's own.
Cooking time/temp: 
20 minutes

Makes 4 Servings

2 TBSP Butter
1 Cup Bulgur
1/4 Cup Whole Flax Seed
1/2 Cup Onion, minced
1 Small Tomato diced
2 cups organic Chicken Broth
1/2 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP each Fresh Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary, Basil, finely chopped


In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. 
Add Bulgur, Flaxseed & onions. 
Stir until Bulgur is golden brown.  About 3 minutes. 
Stir in tomatoes, chicken broth, salt & Fresh Herbs. 

Cover & bring to a boil, then lower heat & simmer approximately 15 minutes or until all the broth is absorbed.
Fluff pilaf with fork - Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
