Broccoli Salad - Keeping it Simple and Fresh

Broccoli is an amazing health decision that over delivers in nutrients, availability, affordability and crunchy goodness. Try this "natural beauty" of a salad that tastes even better than it sounds. Serves up calcium, green vitamins, good fats and some iron. Nice and easy side dish for your lunch bag or casual meal at home.
Cooking time/temp: 
10 minutes

1 head of uncooked! chopped broccoli

1/4 cup (or more) sunflower seeds

1/4 cup (or more) dark raisins

1/4 cup (or add to taste) your favourite coleslaw dressing 

(*Second dressing option: keep it very clean with a little olive oil, salt and pepper)


Chop and dice broccoli into slightly smaller than bite size pieces. Toss with sunflower seeds, raisins and dressing. 

Keep chilled, will stay fresh for up to 3 days in fridge.
