What are some tips to ensure your uterine lining is in top condition in prepartation for a thawed embryo transfer?  Any vitamins, foods etc?

Thanks!

improving lining for FET (frozen embryo transfer)

  • Deep relaxation.  Chronic stress causes blood flow to be directed away from the reproductive system.  Plus stress hormone can negatively impact implantation.  Brisk walking, yoga, massage, laughter with friends and acupuncture can help alleviate stress.
  • Acupuncture 2/week for 4-6 weeks before transfer.  Here is  link to another discussion on uterine lining with a link to the actual study.  Please read the comment by Dr Spence Pentland at the bottom of the discussion.
  • Femoral massage performed by yourself at least twice per day.  Stop after transfer.
  • Eat a nutrient rich diet loaded with antioxidants. This is easy if you follow a whole foods, mostly plant based diet.
  • Essential fatty acids (omega 3's)

Good luck.
