Acubalance Online Seminars
Acubalance has recently begun streaming live online seminars (webinars). The webinars are extremely easy to participate in, they are free, there is no registration required, all you need is a high speed internet connection. The purpose of these webinars is to bring more of the experts in our field a little closer to you, our clients. Pearls of wisdom, research and other info to help guide you on your reproductive journey. We are also trying to record some of them, although this will not always happen, so we encourage attending the live session, as they are interactive.
Poor Sperm = Poor Embryo Quality
More and more studies (in 'fertility & sterility' THE western medical journal all your IVF doctors read to keep up with research) are showing the correlation between sperm quality (in particular DNA fragmentation rate) and embryo quality. Evidence strongly suggests that if a man is displaying low sperm motility (in particular, low % rapid progression) then his sperm DNA fragmentation rate will be higher. Therefore, sperm with low motility may very well be getting women pregnant, but producing embryos of poor quality, and not living past the early weeks of pregnancy. Paxil (a common antidepressant), amongst many other causes, damages sperm (see article). It is an increasingly popular suggestion among healthcare professionals that men do everything they can to improve sperm parameters before jumping into an IVF.
Male hormones to blame for economic depression
A bold statement, right? So far in life, men have been quite content blaming anything women do that is remotely 'crazy' on their hormones. This has made life simple, and is even widely accepted by a lot of women. But what if it was possible that some of the problems with the world that could be classified as being stemming from the 'mans world' were due to male hormones running amuck? Most men might even question 'Do we have hormones?'. Well, the answer is yes, and recently, the finger is being pointed at male hormone imbalance being the cause of the current economic depression.
Chinese medicine treatments suggested for men with erectile problems
An interesting article about Acubalace at a Men's Sexual health website called Edguider.com where they mentioned Chinese Medicine Treatments and Acupuncture as a positive alternative for treating conditions such as Erectile Dysfunction.
