The Ovarian Assessment Report provides women with an accurate assessment of ovulatory egg supply available through the use of a single blood sample. The report provides women with their Egg Retrieval Score (ERS) which is a unique index score that more accurately estimates the ovulatory egg supply by combining age with multiple ovary-related hormones.

Ovulatory egg supply is the quantity of eggs a woman has available for collection through controlled ovarian stimulation, commonly referred to as an egg retrieval procedure. Although you are not undergoing an egg retrieval procedure as part of your therapy, this report will provide us both with valuable information about your egg supply, one of the critical components to your overall fertility.

How much does the OAR cost?
The price for the Ovarian Assessment Report is $ 183 USD. You can submit your credit card information on the ReproSource test requisition form so that Acubalance can fax a copy of the equisition to ReproSource. Your credit card will be verified immediately, but will not be charged until your specimen arrives for testing.

This fee includes the shipping cost and an interpretation fee from Dr Paul Magarelli M.D., a U.S. Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility specialist who is authorized to order he test, and who will interpret and provide the results to Acubalance for you. You pay a separate fee to BC BioMed in British Columbia for collecting and processing your blood ($40 CAD) Once you receive your OAR report you may require additional information and clarification. Acubalance has arranged for a substantially discounted consultation with Dr Magarelli for you if you so desire.
