D&C in May, Preparing for FET next week or should I wait another month?

Hi

Typically how many cycles should I wait after D&C before trying through FET? My IVF doctor says I'm ok to try now - 3rd cycle after D&C.  My Chinese acupuncture doctor suggests I wait another month or 2 - until 4-6th cycle after D&C. She suggest I wait so that I can lose a few pounds and improve the blood flow to uterus. Any recommendations?   

I'm presently on estrogen tablets to prepare the uterine lining (so far progressing well), having acupuncture daily from yesterday until next Thursday when FET is planned.  Physically I'm feeling fine and relaxed.

My history

- had IVF and fresh transfer in February  (male factor - poor morphology)

- Fetal heartbeat detected at week 7

- Fetus stopped growing at week 10 and no heartbeat

- D&C at week 11 (May).  No complications afterwards.  Fetus was found to have chromosome balanced translocation issues.  Myself and my husband had blood test and no chromosome issues.

- Had first menstrual cycle within 30 days after D&C and two subsequent menstrual period were also 29-30 days apart.  (Period in June, July, August) 

- My cycles and ovulation have always been regular. Do not experience any clots or pain during menstrual cycle.  Have been seeing Chinese doctor for acupuncture and tui-na massage for over 1.5 year.
