Psoriasis is a recurrent chronic inflammatory skin disease, affecting upwards of 3% of the worlds population. Along with local skin discomfort like itching, dryness and cracking, psoriasis is linked with a host of other internal problems like; arthritis, depression, cardiovascular disease, and even type 2 diabetes. Chinese herbal medicine has been shown, both in the clinic and through modern research, to offer significant support in the treatment of psoriasis, with as much as 65% of sufferers clearing completely. In this lecture, Dr. Trevor Erikson will share some of his clinical experiences with treating psoriasis. Dr Erikson plans to show some before and after pictures of the cases he has treated.
