Not having a Child

Dear Dr.

My friend, who is married now for 8 years is not having a child. Husband is a L2 Diabetes Patient, he is taking the below mentioned medicines.

1. Amaryl (1mg) - Dosage (½ – 0 – ½) - 5 mins before food

2. Janumet - Dosage (1 – 0 – 1) - Immediately after food

The couple have done all tests and all the doctors say they both have no problems. Need your kind advice, if the mentioned medicine has any side effect that stops them becoming a parent.
