First trimester screen and blood levels
I have a question regarding FTS. I am carrying twins. My FTS risk ratio for Trisomy was very low, so it was an excellent result (I had the nuchal translucency screen done).
However, my PAPP-A was 0.410 and my Free HCG was 0.550. I have been told these are 'low' but within normal range. What is the normal range? Do these levels indicate potential problems with the placentas/fetal growth/potential for prematurity even beyond the early expected delivery of twins?
Thus far the babies are measuring exactly where they should be for the time frame, and are both equally at the 50th percentile for Nuchal traslucency, and approximately on the 80th percentile for crown rump length.
Can you please comment as I am a little anxious about that bloodwork result? Thanks kindly.
