Amenhorrea following zolodex suspression

At 36 I commenced 6 months treatment with zolodex in Feb 07 (10.8mg
implants x 2) prior to a laparotomy and bilateral ovarian cystectomy
for endometriosis which was undertaken in august 07. A check laparoscopy was done
5th  Dec 07 which showed no evidence of endometrosis on either ovaries,
however the left ovary had adhesions. As my periods had not returned
following cessation of zolodex in August, bloods were taken for FSH and
Oestrodial. Results were FSH 7.1 and Oestrodal 50.(5th dec 05) further
blood were taken by my fertility clinic 2-3 weeks later- results FSH
7.4, Oestrodial 128. Pre zolodex inhibin B was normal.

My fertility clinic advised embarking on a further IVF cycle (Jan 08)
despite lack of signs of ovarian function. blood taken immediately
prior to cycle were FSH 10, Oestrodial 28. I commenced on a short
protocol of FSH 300iu with buseralin 0.5mg. The FSH was increased to
375iu following 1st scan. outcome of treatment was poor yeilding 2
oocytes with 1 oocyte mature enough for IVF. Fertilisation failed due
to thick zona.(ICSIwas not undertaken). I am currently having a tracked
cycle and am awaiting further inhibin B  results.

At 7 months post cessation of zolodex treatment Are my periods likely to return to
normal? Is the prlonged delay returning to mensuration indicative of ovarian failure or is it likely to be continued zolodex suspression based on my blood results?

I have been having regular accupuncture treatments since Sept 06 and started chinese herbal teas in November  07 to bring on my periods . As you can appreciate I am extremely worried and anxious as at no point was I informed about the liklihood that my peroids would not return following zolodex & surgery and I am thinking the worse!!!
