Alda Ngo

Alda Ngo B.Sc, Dr. TCM, FABORM began her training at the University of British Columbia where she completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Biology. During that time, she traveled to Guatemala to volunteer for an international women’s health education initiative with the Global Outreach Students’ Association. Her experience with this project reinforced her belief in the value of health education and preventative medicine.

Returning to her family’s origins in traditional medicine, Alda pursued her interest in holistic healthcare through the study of TCM. She studied at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, where she completed the Doctor of TCM program. Her studies in eastern medicine also involved a practicum in China at the Anhui University Hospital of TCM in Hefei.

Alda is happy to be a part of the family at Acubalance Wellness Centre where she continues the growth of her practice in reproductive health and fertility. Supporting fertility is a perfect expression of her deep valuing of family and community.

Alda is a registrant in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of BC (CTCMA of BC). She is past Executive Coordinator on the board of the TCM Association of BC and currently sits on the Quality Assurance Committee of the CTCMA of BC. Alda lives in Vancouver with her husband Sean Fulton, a professional jazz composer, pianist and instructor.
