CKNW Radio talks with Dr. PaulMagarelli on the mechanism behind how acupuncture Improves IVF through regulating stress hormones
CKNW radio host Jill Bennett interviews Dr. Paul Magarelli MD, PhD on the weekend morning news on September 25th, 2010 about the possible mechanisms behind how acupuncture improves IVF pregnancies, live births and reduces miscarriages, twins and ectopic pregnancies when acupuncture is used for 4 weeks before an IVF and on the day of embryo transfer. Dr. Magarelli also discusses male factor and how some studies have shown acupuncture and Chinese herbs can improve morpholgy (shape of sperm), count and motility.
Dr. Magarlli shares how the public can best find a qualified fertility acupuncturist through the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). Dr. Paul Magarelli is presenting to medical doctors and IVF nurses and staff at the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) annual conference being held in Vancouver on September 30 to October 2, 2010.
