Adding acupunture to IVF
Hi Lorne, I wanted to send you a very overdue Thank
You!!! I'm not sure if you remember me but I came to see you after
about 4 years of unsuccessfully trying for our first baby. What a
roller coaster ride that was. After a friend had mentioned an article
she had read about acupuncture and fertility I did a bit of reading on
the internet and came across your website. I had heard about
acupuncture helping other health issues and decided that I should give
it a try. I am so glad that I did. I remember telling my husband
throughout the time I was coming to see you that I didn't know if
Acupuncture was going to help me become pregnant but if nothing else I
was feeling so good. Much better than I had in a long time. I felt
like I had so much more energy.
In March 2006 we began our first IVF cycle. I was so nervous
because almost everyone I had talked to said "It's not likely to happen
the first time". So of course it's almost like you have set yourself
up for failure. I have to admit it did seem so out of reach because
our hopes had been shot down so many times but with the help of family,
friends, you and everyone else at AcuBalance I felt confident that the
route we were taking was the right one and I was doing everything
possible to help our cycle. I truly feel that you helped us get
"lucky" at our first try!!!! I remember coming in right after the
transfer and you said to me as I was entering the room "Take it easy
Mom, we have precious cargo in there". I think I was almost as excited
that day as the day we found out I was pregnant.
On January 2, 2008 our beautiful baby girl turned one. I
would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support
and encouragement. Mackenzie has blessed our family in ways I never
knew were possible. Thank you so very much. I've attached a couple
photo's of Mackenzie for you to see.
